Second fellow I caught jumping Sheep River Falls that day. They actually stopped up river, walked down to survey the hazards, then walked back, jumped in the kayaks and made their run over the falls. The first fellow stayed close to our bank while this fellow opted for the middle of the falls. They knew what they were doing and made it look easy.

When the sun sets in the Western sky, many Adirondack ponds and lakes have so many rainbows over them that you would think you were in Hawaii. This photo was featured in “Light and Reflection” on Redbubble on 12/17/09. See more of my Adirondack landscape and wildlife photos at http://bestrainbowtroutphotos.com. My favorite photographs of rainbow trout are quite unique and have received much recognition. Thank you for looking. Have a great day!!!
Shot while on my first ever bubble meet at the beginning of 2009 with good friend and Redbubbler Steve smith, while shooting waterfalls along the river Swale in the Yorkshire dales national park in Yorkshire, we saw these kayakers going down the small rapids, I’d have loved to have a go but was enjoying shooting them… / Shot with a Nikon D70s and 18-70mm lens. / f4.5 / 1/125 / ISO 200
