Canon Powershot with IR filter “As Is” / Brandywine Falls Ohio / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-— / I have been waiting for this kind of shot for a long time. The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! I found a new toy its my infrared lens. had been wandering along this creek for half and hour when I spotted this lone leaf clinging steadfastly to the rock amidst all the rushing water. I lingered to enjoy the peace of the moment. That leaf seemed a perfect metaphor of my faith. The stronger my faith the more the busy world can rush around me and still leave me feeling calm.

The expert photographers talk about their love of light. I am more amazed by water. I don’t know what I enjoy more, water when it is perfectly stll and calm or when it’s in motion.

The sun was partially blocked by all the tree leaves, creating a spotty shaded effect.

Lake Falls in Matthiessen State Park is possibly the most magical, spiritual waterfall I have ever photographed. It is special and always blesses me with a wonderful spiritual feel to it. It inspires me to be religous in some way that I cannot explain. / The whirlpool is like God. He has no beginning and no end.
