by NatskyThere is a beaten track to a place called Protester’s Falls in northern NSW. Most people do it in 15 minutes…I got a bit sidetracked and it took me more than 3 hours! / So many beautiful images that I had to photograph. Nikon D700 24-70mm / ISO 200 / f/22 / 30 seconds

In Northern NSW, not far from the Channon, there is a pocket of sub-tropical rainforest complete with palms, vines, waterfalls, figs and the odd leech and mosquito…Protester’s Falls. This is about halfway to the main falls…keep walking! Nikon D700 with 24-70mm / ISO 200 / f/22 / 30 seconds

Ok…you’re almost to the falls now, Protester’s Falls. Just up this rocky path and then the roar of rushing water you can hear, turns into wet air heavy to breath. Nikon D700 with 24-70mm / ISO 200 / f/22 / 8 seconds

The view from a viewing area above Starved Rock State Park at night. There was no flash used. The light on the branches is from the light on the veranda area of Starved Rock Lodge. The sky was glowing most likely from the dam on the Illinois Riverand a neighboring town.
