Colorful fish in a big pond
“That’s a great conversation going down there in the water!” Ophelia hooted! Her acute sense of hearing led her to a giant jar filled with colourful guppies which were busy chatting about how the changing climate had affected the water condition. However, she stood by the rim of the jar, contemplating to join in or not. For that, she had to enter into the waters to be part of the robust conversation. “I’m an Overcomer!” Ophelia reasoned hard within. “Maybe after this experience, my phobia of water would be gone forever!” She hooted in great faith! You can view and buy my other “The Overcomer” creations from my Zazzle Gallery:

As a child, my treasured stuffed animal (as all children tend to have) was a little squirrel who went on every kind of adventure with me, and my favorite story was about a lil’ squirrel named “Miss Suzy” – written by Miriam Young, and illustrated by Arnold Lobel. I love the thought of the tiny leaf-boat capturing the attention of the denizens of the pond as it passes by en route to a wonderous place. January 10th, 2009 – WOW!! Thank you so much for the front page feature!!! I’m so delighted! If you like Columbus – you might enjoy some of my other little animal works!! / / /
This is the pond in back of my house in Orlando, Florida.

A small waterfall falling into a small pool in early Fall. Ottawa Canyon is in Starved Rock State Park. You can bet that I will go back to this magical place this summer. Camera: Canon 5D / Lens: Canon 17-40mm / Heliopan thin polarizing filter / Slik 813 CF (carbon fiber) tripod I would like to thank Carlie Hensley for nominating this image of mine into the “Pay it Forward” group. She chose this as her favorite image not just of mine, but on all of RB. Carlie, I am extremely pleased and honored that you did this for me. Thank you a hundred times and God bless you. XOXOXO This is what Carlie said about my work to the Pay if Forward group, “”He is a brilliant photographer. I absolutely love all of his work, but this picture is one of my very favorites”. She deserves some recognition for doing this. Here is the link to her portfolio Carlie Hensley
floating in my small home made lily pond this past fall. I darkened the tones of the whole image a notch or two here plus cropped-sharpened once…. Natures own elements provided the real beauty I find in it… Jewel tones in the water like Sapphires, Emeralds and Citrines come from the ponds surrounding tree line.
