Macro of two fallen leaves with droplets of water.
Here’s one I took today… I like it for it’s simplicity. This leaf also was placed on a mirror.
I can’t get over how perfectly round this raindrop is. /

Found this little Jumping Spider in the Gardens of the Botanical Gardens of Mt Tamborine, Queensland, Australia. Unsure of the exact species, one site has this one as “unknown” location Queensland, so I think it was it. Love their 8 eyes, they make great little hunters. 3mm in size, and very cute little guys :) Canon 5D Mk II, 65mm. Available Large, and best viewed Large!

A portrait of the Green Long Legged Fly, or Dolichopodid Fly. If you have these flies in your rose garden, it’s a good thing, they love the taste of Aphids. I waited and hung around these guys for a long while, and didn’t unfortunately catch one eating. Not sure how often they do eat. Captured in the Northern Suburbs of brisbane, sitting on a common garden shrub leaf. They grow to about 6mm in length, and usually bright coloured green in colour. Some varieties have black patches on their wings. Canon 5D Mk II, 65mm, 4x. Available very large, and best appreciated large!
