I saw this torn up photo of the Queen at an antique mart in Buenos Aires. I snapped a photo of it and restored it on PhotoShop. I still can’t get over how young she was here. I don’t think I’ve seen her this youthful and beautiful. Sold 1 laminated print to a fan in England.

Jim – is the senior volunteer Guide for the Bibbulmum Track here in Western Australia. / This was taken in the Dwellingup Hotel beer garden after an arduous four day walk in support of the Bibbulmum Track Foundations Corporate Challenge. A four day walk during which competitors in groups of four complete several land and water based activities. The Bibbulmum Track is a world acclaimed 1000 km walk only track from Perth to Albany on the states Southern Coast. Spaced about every 20 clicks or so are three walled huts with bunks, fire place and a bush toilet. I reckon Jim’s done about 6 or 8 full length walks. A wild Crow flies before a sacred Totem Pole which depicts the symbolism of many animal forms including Man. Featured in Nikon D40 (x) Users November 24, 2009. / Featured in Winter in the North-East USA February 9, 2009 I was thinking of naming this one Snow White and the Seven Dwarves … but there are more than seven little trees, and I couldn’t seem to consistently get the same number when I’d count them up!!! I know there’s a lot of negative space happening here … but I liked the feeling of distance and scale … and of course the subtle and quickly changing light in the sky is a big part of the fun. This is located just a short walk up from our Cabin on Blue Knob Mountain in Claysburg, PA. Image taken on January 20, 2009 with the Nikon D40x, using the 18-200mm VR Nikon lens.

Pastel on Canson mi teintes paper – (grey) 70cm x 50cm I did this many years ago when I was first experimenting with pastel!! The only part that is ‘real’ is the first cow, (for which I used a reference photo) and the rest was made up as I went along.
