  • On the road between towns, this sign is just sitting there, rusting away by the side of a paddock, it’s purpose apparently long gone. In the original shot, it is just an empty rusty frame…but when I looked at the photo , I just had to put something in there…...

  • graphite pencil on paper

  • This shot was taken on my old retro straight onto floppy camera, so it’s only high enough resolution for a card.(Recently added ‘Blooming pregnant’ a larger version) This pregnant belly belongs to my ex-drawing student, the contents of which is now a lovely little one year old girl. I applied the design with henna, and photoshopped it to this appropriate egg-like image.

  • Acrylic on canvas. This piece was literally painted either side of a storm, I began the base layers as the clouds welled and the thunder began to rumble, I let it dry as the storm passed, and then completed the final layers. I have decided not to make my paintings available on canvas, as they are already on canvas I feel reproductions should be on a different medium.

  • Oil on canvas applied with palette knife. Featured on the cover of the second album by Kevin Kastning and Sandor Szabo: / It is indeed an honour to have my work represent the wonderful music of these extraordinarily talented musicians. Inventors of whole knew instruments for the guitar family, and trail blazers of their genre. To hear , head to www.kevinkastning.com

  • Another in the fairytale series. A different photographic approach this time, which I plan to try out again with my next shot based on the Rupunsel tale. My dear friend Hilda was an excellent model, she posed so well I have many great shots from that day. But I have chosen this one for the series because I love the look on her face, kinda of guilty and not pleased at being sprung making soup out of those pumpkins she’s supposed to use to turn into coaches for young lasses to attend balls in. /

  • The Lea Valley Way tracks the river from its source in Leagrave in Luton to its confluence with the Thames at Bow. On this section from Harpenden to Leasey Bridge it follows the course of an old railway line.

  • When Paul Vanzella told me he was shooting with Sarah, I bought, begged and stole my way into that shoot. And who could blame me!
