  • Lawton, OK / May 09 2 photos layered with different opacities Brushes I found on the web here All put together in CS4 by me =) Nikon D80 For Earth Keepers: Lawton, OK is HOT, muggy and buggy. There isn’t much to do around here, but when you look around with the right attitude there is beauty to be found. However…. with the extreme wind here the garbage gets blown all over the cow pastures and hay fields. We need to be better about securing our trash and that include not producing as much too.

  • Winter seagrass stalks, layered with muted textures. Taken at Coogee Beach, Perth, Western Australia. / Camera – Nikon D90 Featured in ‘The Grunge Art Gallery’

  • Hurricane Ridge, Olympic NP, Washington state, USA. / Feeling the need to get away from the traffic below, we drove up to this viewpoint one evening, on a road trip through Washington State and Oregon, the Pacific North West of the USA. There weren’t too many folk up there, just a few black-tailed deer for company. I just loved those misty layers. It was a great way to end the day ! I shot this on my CANON EOS 20D, with my Tamron 28-300mm lens, set at 55mm, polarising filter, on tripod, f8, 1/250sec, iso 100, Auto WB, RAW file processed in Photoshop CS3. I cooled the image down by reducing the colour temperature to make it more blue, the rest was just levels/curves adjustments. / I used a relatively wide aperture to keep the image on the soft side, enhancing the misty layers. / FEATURED IN / http://www.redbubble.com/groups/mountains-and-light / AND / http://www.redbubble.com/groups/fine-art-of-landscape-photography / /

  • Inspired by the amazing song “Time is running out” by Muse (I encourage you to listen it and enjoy this music of deep and intense feelings) This scene was taken in Seville at night, during a street exhibition of the famous photographer Ruven Afanador. • Best viewed large . / Nestling just below the atmospheric West Yorkshire moors, the beautiful village of Haworth is the jewel in the crown of the Worth Valley. Just to the north of Bradford, Haworth is internationally famous for its connections with the Brontë family, and the three sisters in particular. Most well known books are Jayne Eyre and Wuthering Heights . / _ Main St Haworth with added textures .and layers. Canon Eos 400d / HDR using a tripod and three shot bracketing. /
