My apologies for having no originality in flower choice but as you can see, I love my plain old dandelions! Anyway, in this image there are 3 stages of flower from the same plant, the bud, the flower and the post-flower fairy which to me are like 3 generations. I chose the layers and treatment to reflect all 3 generations by being aged yet still bright and not faded. / Have sold 1 x laminated print.
The flower and the wall. Took picture of both and mixed it up somehow. Photoshop, layers, textures, filters.

This image defines me in many ways. My favorite flowers are tulips and my favorite color is red. A flower goes through many stages in it’s life as does a human being. In that process it too, weeps. This is a personal feeling I get from this image. / MCN: C50B3-92AFF-C4A7D June 2009…placed in the Top Ten in the All Things Green and Red chellenge hosted by the First Things group. This is for the HDIR group challenge. The original image is infrared. Taken on my old FujiFilm FinePix with an R72 filter attached. I used Topaz Adjust to get the HDR effect on the leaves of the tree. The challenge stipulates a reflection….so I made one ..(I hope) by inverting the original image and adding some motion blur and altering the perspective. Then I added a layer of texture ..I felt it just needed something else to finish it off. Oh, and the title comes from a band called “LIVE” from their CD “Mental Jewelry” It’s playing at the moment on my computer and I thought it was appropriate.
