So many beautiful limestone formations throughout the islands of the Krabi area and so hard to pick which one to start with! This one appealed to me with its array of tree specimens all over, so I thought I’d begin here. / All comments & views appreciated.

Sleek yacht in front of a luxurious summer home.
Descend the hand-hewn coral steps into a cool oasis. Sunlight shimmers across the surface, sparkling like diamonds. Let all your cares gently float away.
Vizcaya, the lovely Italian palace built in the early 1900s in South Florida. Home to so many beauties, including this spray of sunny yellow orchids. The image takes on the quality of a hand-tinted picture postcard from the days of yore.

May I serve you, Dear? / Ah, yes, my sweet, / Please, some tea, / Peach Apricot, if you would, / Thank you :)) / Would you like to take it in the garden? / Oh, my, that would be wonderful. Please, make yourself comfortable, / I will return shortly with service, Darling… / Thank you, my Love….
Originally built in 1783 through 1787 for the Dutch Consul, Daniel Gildemeester, This hotel is lavishly furnished and decorated, for the comfort of its guests. Jose’ da Costa e Silva, the architect of the Sao Carlos Theater, Lisbon, Portugal, is credited with the enlargement of the palace, in 1801. One is astonished upon entering, as details such as crown molding are as beautifully appointed as the Chandeliers which dot the buildings rooms. I can almost hear the conversation from one of the sitting rooms…. / “Darling, please call room service. I would like Eggs Benedict with sauteed mushrooms and tea for breakfast” “Of, course, my sweet, I would love to meet your every need” “Oh, thank you, Dear!” The walls are covered in many of the rooms with elegent and country scenes, perhaps reflecting the surrounding lands, in which children may have run barefoot, 200 years ago. Among the gardens, one can imagine late 18th Century patrons of the home, wandering, engaging in idle chatter or perhaps the philosophy of Jose’ Francisco…. Ah, the glory of magnificent Architecture, great conversation, and wonderful friends, is not to be passed over in any age. Portugal is replete with locations such as Seteais….
The maples in my yard were just on fire!! Shot this looking up, what an amazing sight! Autumn in the Ozark is such a spectacular sight, its eye candy wherever you look. I do enjoy trees, and I shoot them often, but during the autumn season they sure shine in all their glory. Fall 10 3 2005 Arkansas / AS IS: / hp 635 / F/5.8 / 1/245 sec. / ISO-100 /

FEATURED the Inspired Artist Group 12/10/2009 I have seen several wonderful repaint studies on RedBubble of Vermeer’s ‘The Pearl’. This is my fun version of it. / This digital painting is all mouse drawn and painted in Photoshop 5.5. Windows ‘98 platform. I would like to think my version of the ‘Pearl’ is how Mr. Vemeer would have painted it if he was a commercial illustrator in the 21’st century. He liked bright color as is being discovered when they clean centuries of grime off his wonderful paintings. I recieved a reproduction back on this design. The color is just as brilliant as you see on screen. Greeting Card For that bright flash of color or as a conversation piece in your decor use a small ‘Mounted Print’ on a plate easel, chic. From the ‘Golden Collection’ by Norval Arbogast / This painting is my fun version of Vermeer’s ‘The Pearl’ I just got a reproduction back. Stunning. The color is just as brilliant as you see on screen. The blues will knock your eyes out. I’m pleased.
I helped a friend move house a few weekends ago, so I dropped round to visit & help out with some furniture arranging. Well, I had to kill time between my finishing school & her uni class, so I took a camera tour of the local area – this was a great find, as I just love ornamental ironwork CBD, Melbourne
