I’m not sure where I was going with this. I found some bananas and cool retro scales when I was raiding Larry’s kitchen looking for lollies and decided to use them in a photo. Actually, I may have been finding a reason to shoot Lauralie’s gorgeous shoes. I’m not usually a fan of studio shooting, but I must say I enjoyed how few photos I took versus how many shots I was happy with. So something about it agreed with me.

Special thanks to Larry for letting me pull his lemon tree apart (only to use one tiny branch in the end!), and to all the shift workers who dangled it above Lauralie while I was shooting. Even with that sour lemon she looks sweet as sugar.
