Sometimes I wish boaters who come out early, could just launch their boats without disturbing the peace while they’re at it. But you can’t help but laugh at how clumsy some of them are just trying to clear the launch…..LOL

This yellow dory was tied to the wharf for the winter. The boat launch had quite a steep angle to it… you can see the ocean far below, so the dory was secured with these blue ropes.I loved the contrast between the yellow boat and the blue ropes holding it securely. / / Visit my website On The Rock Photography / / laminated print / /

This was taken hanging out of the side of a boat on The Perfume River in Vietnam. My boat was moving past these guys in one direction and I was quickly losing time waiting for him to launch his net. An abandoned pleasure craft up on blocks at St Marks, Florida … hunting around underneath the hull I found some wonderful art work. Nikon D90 with Nikon 60mm macro on tripod f/13 1/40s ISO 400. I see waves rolling in one behind the other, with the dawn sun catching the one about to break on the shore.
