  • This is a picture of our wedding rings – they are a little scratched and worn after 2 and a half years but I think this symbolises the work and commitment that goes into every successful marriage – each little scratch is like a reminder and a bit of character within our relationship that we can build on and become even stronger together. Marriages should be lasting – but you will only get from it what you put in….

  • Last shot from a sunset session in early October 2007.

  • Beats your average factory-produced business shoes, for sure! Traditional rich colours and upturned toes of North Indian footwear on display in Singapore. These shoes are worn by men and while I’m told they are extremely comfortable, I’ve never road-tested them! I shot this image in a display setting outside a store in Singapore’s Little India area. Because it was indoors, the low light was a help, not a hindrance. This was one of about half a dozen frames, but I reckon it has the edge because of the depth of field, the tight composition – and the fact it would be a great advertisement for a three-legged race. I shot this aspect deliberately, so that a viewer’s eye would first be drawn to the intricate, gilt handiwork on the shoes – and then be drawn forward to the graceful, long points. I do not crop, enhance or post-edit my images in any way. Shot with a Pentax K100D, using a Sigma 18-125mm lens. F6.7, 1/45 sec, ISO 800, focal length 88mm. Featured in INCREDIBLE INDIA group in May, 2009. Featured in SHOES group in May, 2009. Featured in ODD ONE OUT, August 2009. TOP 10 in FOOTWEAR challenge, September 2009. TOP 10 in HAPPY HAVEN challenge, September 2009. Featured in PHOTOGRAPHY – RULE OF THIRDS, September 2009. Featured in AUTHENTIC INDIA, October 2009. SingaporeB – 1941

  • Well… everything approaching to the end. Now it’s the end of this legend named… Barcelona. This legend is written by me, I red it myself and translated to you, my friends. Any other person will write about Barcelona by different way but it’s my Barcelona, my understanding of her and my look at her. / Like the first love of the man it stays with him for ever and my Barcelona, my love, will stay with me as I remember her… I’m leaving Barcelona and it’s my last look at her and my last look at Gaudi… look from inside… Gaudi. It’s my last shot made from inside Casa Batlló, through the window of Casa Batlló, at the roof of Casa Batlló… Bye-bye Barcelona, hope to see you soon again… I’m going away… south… through all Spain.
