This was one of those freak photos, straight off my camera, the only thing i changed was the white balance and the original was in color!!!... i walked straight past this spot on the walking track and my friend pulled me up!!! Spider webs were every where, there was late afternoon fog that had nt lifted, sun was perfect, dead trees, it was all there!! 30 mins later when we walked past, the sun was too low and the fog had lifted and the web could hardly be seen!!! freaky…......right place…......right time…....hahahaha…

The kaitoke River flows from the highlands of Great Barrier Island off the coast of New Zealand. The surrounding wilderness and swamplands are a desolate sactuary to nature. Here shot at dawn about 18 months ago. Image enhanced with an HDR program to saturate the colours to give a ‘Naive Art’ feel to the photograph. / Camera – Sony R1. Time exposure
