  • Punta "San Vigilio" lies at the tip of Monte Baldo and stretches far into the lake, farther than the peninsula of Sirmione, exactly at that point where the lake is at its widest and most open. From there you overlook more or less the whole of Lake Garda. On the left you see the southern shore and the Rock Manerba; on the right, behind the Isle of Garda, you see the gulf of SalÚ as well as Gardone and Maderno. On one side of the peninsula a small bay opens, called the "Baia delle Sirene" while on the other side you’ll find a small picturesque port. Nearby, a cliff called "della Stella" stands out of the water.

  • Monte San Salvatore and lake of Lugano. View from Serpiano, Tessin, Switzerland.

  • I have have seen serveral of these in my travels and in other peoples images and I am always fascinated by the architecture. This Flat Iron Builing is in San Francisco California. The buildings looks flat (even though they are triangular) when taken from this angle. I dont know if all big citys have one. I have seen the one in Atlanta but I havent found one in Los Angeles yet. Ha something to do. /

  • “On a dark, desert highway, cool wind in my hair…I heard the mission bell…” Mission San Luis Obispo just outside the back gate at Camp Pendleton, Southern California, about the time the Eagles’ hit song, “Hotel California” was playing just about everywhere. The VW van and model of Mercedes Benz parked in shadow in front, were ubiquitous of that area and era. My earliest watercolor (that I have). Original for sale unframed, $500. Watercolor, on hot press illustration board, 14” x 18”.

  • Early morning I ventured to Ridgway, CO to get some photos of the Dallas Divide near Ouray. This gorgeous “mini mountain range” features Mt. Sneffels rising to 14,150ft above sea level. A spectacular sight any time of year, as the plains around the mountains allow of clear views of the towering peaks from CO Hwy. 62
