I was fortunate enough to travel to Italy when I was 19, this was taken as just a naive snap happy photo on my dodgy old-school camera and I’ve cleaned it up and added some oomph in photoshop. (It’s better if you click on the image to see a larger view)
Sold 2 poster prints October 2008 / Am I allowed to do this? Had to do it, While I had to get up at 0245GMT for work and drive my trains, my wife Donna, went on a church walk with the boys as well to Elterwater in the English lake district and she took my pride and joy, only cause I know she has the eye! and she helps me bin the rubbish shots I have taken, she’s learnt from me and yes I was sweating that she took my camera, so this is one of her shots, I processed it in HDR style to get the most detail, I am pretty proud of her, I think she has done a great job of this shot, no cropping whatsoever, well spotted, well I am congratulating her anyway.here’s Donnas shot. / Shot with a Nikon D70s and 18-70mm lens / /
This was the last shot as I was packing up, while I was chatting to a fellow medium-format photographer. It’s got everything: lovely subtle pink & blue sky colours, reflection in still water… well worth getting up early for. Taken on the Hasselblad using Fuji Provia film, at Friar’s Crag on the end of Derwentwater, Keswick, in the Lake District .

MUCH BETTER VIEWED LARGER / 190 Comments,125 Favourites, 2956 Views / Sydney is great for sunrises, it quite often receives spectacular sunrises as it greets the sunrises that appear from the east. This shot shows the city skyline as seen from North Sydney CBD on the northern shore of Sydney Harbour, in the foreground is Lavender Bay. Technique: HDR , 5 Bracketted images processed with Photomatix Pro with avery slight adjustment (sharpening & contrast) in Capture NX. Equipment: Nikon D300 , Nikon 18-200mm lens No filters or colour adjustment 1) RED SKY AT NIGHT… means that as the sun sets in the west, if it has a red hue or color to it, then the moisture was further west of their location. Thus SAILORS DELIGHT. A beautiful sunset. 2) RED SKY IN MORN…means that as the sunlight from the rising sun passes through moisture, it too will be red. This means that with the rotation of the earth, this will bring this moisture (and possible storm) right on top of them and it is only a few hours away. SO SAILORS TAKE WARN.” / I hope this bit of weather science helps.

Linaji 2009 All things are possible if we start right now to believe that here in this moment is our POINT OF ATTRACTION / That no matter for how long or what has been going on that does not seem to work can change in an instant if we understand that everything that can ever possibly happen can only happen at this point in time. NOW That everything changes when we start to see that life is suppose to be FUN and we can allow the infinite possibilities to formulate the best path for our desires to manifest. I have never seen this more true than my own life. As everyday I soften my thinking to better feeling thoughts I experience new vista’s to guide me towards that which I am becoming and that which I desire. Today has been such an easy day full of butterfly vibrations and lovely sounds and visions and YOU! xox
