  • Bluebells are rather particular as to where they will grow, but here in Northumberland they seem to like our damp woodlands and bring a lot of joy in spring. It’s my favourite time of year and always knocks about ten years off my age – only for to to be added on again in winter. The orginial is in oils and was about 20” x 16”.

Lora aged 11 years old, carries Princess, her sister on her back. Lora is now responsible for her sisters care, as her mum died during childbirth. It is extremely difficult for an adult just to survive in poverty, and where food and water is scarce. Lora’s aunt who was breastfeeding at the time of Princess birth took princess and breastfed her also. Now Lora must do what she can to raise her baby sister. Please pray for me and the Philadelphia Mission, as we try and help lora and others just like her. Spread the word around the world, and tell others about the work we do. • This is Meat Cove, Nova Scotia. It’s a rural fishing village at the Northern most point of Cape Breton Island with a population of less than 100. According to Wiki, The name Meat Cove, came from the smell of cooking meat that sailors could catch down wind as they approached the cove from many miles away. The cove was a place to lay away and hunt and get fresh water before sailing on. I took this image many years ago, but it is still a favorite for me.

  • Nobody in the village knew his name or where he came from. Abandoned and very sick, he came slowly to us and just sat down at my feet. My deep passion to help those who are very much less fortunate that we are burn every second of each day. I am deeply Inspired By the suffering and desperate struggle of these often abandoned children, to reach out even more to help them in their hour of need. Its not what we take with us when we die, as we shall take no wealth or materials with us. it is what we can leave behind that really matters to God. To leave clean water wells, the ability to grow good quality food, Medical care is what really motivates me. I am sorry that I seem to upload hard sometimes unpleasant images on my site, but I cannot hide the real truth about the suffering in extreme and isolated areas of remote Africa. You won’t see images of this type on Safari brochures or tourist holiday websites. Yet children like this little boy suffer so much. We can together help many children like this precious child. Philadelphia Mission [Reg No: 1049410] is a British charity working with extreme poor in isolated and rural villages in Africa. We are ALL unpaid volunteers and we with a few friends cover all charity overheads and expenses, which are small. ALL DONATIONS WE RECEIVE GOES TOWARD THESE PRECIOUS PEOPLE. EVERY LAST PENNY GOES INTO PROJECTS THAT SAVE AND BETTER LIVES Every little helps. PLEASE PRAY FOR US AND THESE PEOPLE. God hears, He cares and he answers prayers. • PLEASE READ THIS. / Taken in Ungwa/fada village, in remote Nigeria. This was not staged for a photographs, I wasa walking around the remmote village early in the morning and saw this beautiful child praying. These villagers are extremely poor, and many are sick. Their well has caved in and Rickets is rampant here. No hospitals, or school within easy reach, and there is no main roads for 30 miles. We are helping as many as we can. My Passion and calling in life is to do more than just Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to these poor people, but to with your help and Gods increase meet their needs and help them live better lives. This is my attempt to add something different to the original. I am very new to Paintshop pro and copy and pasting images into other Photographs. I am excited as I have tried many times before and failed. I have much to learn.
