This is again, from a drive through the back roads of the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. I was just driving around and stopping to photograph things that caught me eye (I wound up lost too). This is a plot of land behind a farmhouse near Seville.

Carved By Nature’s Wrath / The 12 Apostles, Victoria Following a day of torrential rain and gale force winds, the sun shone momentarily, lighting up the moody sky, before plunging the rugged coastline into complete darkness. As night falls, a solitary waterfall is all that remains of the passing storms, returning the much needed rain to the swollen seas of the shipwreck coast. She established, in the style of the grand estates of the period, several distinct gardens to evoke a range of aesthetic experiences. Pastel on Colourfix sanded paper – 70cm x 50cm This is the Howqua River near Sheepyard Flat, not far from Mansfield in northern Victoria. Peter, my husband, and I had the most wonderful camping trip here a couple of years ago which resulted in several paintings. I have been yearning to return ever since! This is my favourite time of day for artwork – late afternoon/early evening!
