  • From Gairloch on the north-west coast of Scotland, a little road turns off along the coast to Big Sand and then on, getting narrower, past the tiny hamlet of North Erradale and along the clifftops to the lighthouse at Melvaig. Take it and I promise you will see spectacular scenery such as this spot looking back to the mountains of Skye. Sunsets from here are wonderful and you may spot gannets hurtling into the sea way below you. / Canon SX10 1S handheld /
