This is a row of willows that is not more than a 100 mt. far from my house, in the country side near to Scalenghe in Piedmont, Italy. / I took this on a very early morning last november, 30 minutes after sunrise, while a thick fog was coming around, quickly obscuring the entire scene in just five minutes. This macro photograph taken within inches of the tree trunk shows a small world of its own, looking much like an abstract oil painting, hidden from all passers-by except me! A small story to add a little atmosphere for your enjoyment! “The fresh clean air rushed into our lungs as we pushed aside the last of the rocks digging our way towards freedom….....the bright morning sunlight blinded us. It had been 60 days since we last saw daylight. The journey through the dormant volcano had taken us deep into the bowels of the earth. I’ll never forget this adventure…......ever! Yep this is a moonrise, not a sunrise. I’ve never seen such an orange moon rising as on this night. This is one photo from a sequence of 135 I shot of the moonrise, which I’ve turned into a timelapse – you can see one hour of moonrise in 30 seconds here And can I also get your help? I can’t make up my mind which crop I like best so can you tell me whether you like #1, #2, or #3 and I’ll post the most popular up.
