I wished my 350D had see-through capability. Now the mountains that beseige this spectacular city make this shot look like it’s in a bowl. It costed us HKD15 to get on the platform to get this view. Angkor Wat in Cambodia is a magical place. Although I had to get up very very early to shoot this, it was worth every minute. It is always inconvenient to carry a tripod when backpacking but scenes like this remind you how important it is to bring one along.

as I was in Philly.. I remembered the saying .. brotherly love.. to tell you the truth , I didnt really expect it. but , I was very surprised pleasantly , to be given the courtesy by strangers .. of a hello..and of stopping their cars to let me go “jaywalking”.. and the like.. it was great to see this . This photo was taken from inside of the beautiful train station at 12th street.. where there is a huge room, with a window to the skyline I layered this with a velvia film …

Sutton Bank is a high vantage point at the very edge of the Hambleton Hills and the North York Moors with extensive views over the Vale of York and the Vale of Mowbray. Because of its location and high elevation, Sutton Bank is popular with gliding and flying enthusiasts. Predominant landmarks include Whitestone Cliff and Roulston Scar, the former overlooking the mysterious (and reputedly bottomless !) Lake Gormire. Close nearby are the villages of Sutton-under-Whitestonecliff, and Kilburn (famous for the White Horse of Kilburn, and Robert Thompson – the “Mouseman” of Kilburn). / Sutton Bank is one of the most spectacular inland cliffs anywhere in Britain, and carries one of the most hair-raising main roads in the country. The near vertical drop from top to bottom is around 140 metres, and crosses at least two major geological boundaries. / The Sutton Bank National Park Centre is on the western edge of the fabulous North York Moors National Park – home to the largest expanse of heather moorland in England.
