Some poppies at an abandoned ship yard in Wales,UK
Illustrator, Photoshop. / /
Its all in the title. A field of Poppy’s not far from my parents home. Easily seen from my old bedroom. I discovered the field a bit late in terms of the poppy’s they had passed their best by the time I got to them. It still looks ok though. Many thanks for viewing. / Camera settings, what are they. Only joking, I don’t keep notes, I tend to shoot in aperture priority most often on a tripod at f22 but when I forget the tripod (almost always) It depends on the light. This was around f10 i think. / / / /
Away beyond the blue / One star belongs to you / And every breathe I take / I’m closer to that place / Yeah, baby / I’m gonna meet you there / On the outskirts of the sky / Yeah, baby / And we will fly / Away beyond the blue / One star belongs to you / This life is but a dream / Go gently down the stream… lyrics by Beth Nielsen Chapman
The Tardis… The ultimate Freedom Machine. Forget travelling back in time, or to planets inhabited by strange, fascinating and terribly sexy creatures. If Dr Who were to offer me a ride this is where I would want to go. Well… here or back to his place ;) Oh, and as for the fact that the real Tardis is blue not red – well of COURSE mine would be red! My blue phase is soooo yesterday ;)

..painted with love for the soldiers that gave their lives for us on the poppy fields of Flanders……Owlspook wrote this beautiful poem – .................. A golden field with flowers of red / commemorate the lives of the dead / who shed their blood in wars long gone / how could they know they were but pawns / in games that were played by greedy old men / who real purpose was beyond their ken / and these old men took the best of us / without a care, without any fuss / they sent them off into the battle / to be slaughtered like barnyard cattle / they did not care twas not their mind / twas money and power that made them blind / and now again it’s off to war / far away from our home land shore / to bear the brunt of old men games / to feed the fire and the flames / how blind we be to shut our eyes / and play the games of old men lies / afraid to speak afraid to say / this is not right we will not play / but the noose it tightens every day / afraid to say / afraid to say / this is not right we will not play / but the noose it tightens every day ….healing through remembrance / ! Impressionist, painterly / two boys doing what they do best in the rain. Digital painting is an emerging art form in which traditional painting techniques such as watercolor, oils, etc. are applied using digital tools by means of a computer, a digitizing tablet and stylus, and software. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model. The artist uses painting techniques to create the digital painting directly on the computer. / I create the painting, directly on my PC, by using a Wacom tablet, a stylus pen and ArtRage painting software. The Wacom tablet can be compared to a canvas or watercolor paper surface. The stylus pen is my paintbrush.
