  • Two Rivers Lake, Algonquin Provincial Park, Ontario CANADA. Thanksgiving weekend 2008 just before sunset.

  • I can only speculate that the winds in the fall blew fine mist, off Wabigoon Lake, onto the shoreline at freeze up. Grass, small shrubs and the rocks are covered in a thick layer of ice. I can only imagine what it looked like before the snow flew. Dryden, ON. • watercolour 12” x 16” on Arches cold pressed 140lb paper / dry brush technique, Grumbacher paints. Arriving in Schreiber, Ontario, from the west along HWY 17, a semi brakes as he glides downhill into the old railroad town. The early morning sun highlights some mist still clinging to the hills in the previous night’s chill air. This painting is less realistic than a lot of my work, and was my second attempt at painting this scene.

  • a glimpse into what we are going through here.. it makes finding these images out in nature worth it.. one set of neighbors(pink house) seem to think that yelling at us and calling us losers..is ok.. in front of my 7 yr old child… ie ..we have the neighbors from hell next door..and are still in the process of leaving this place..hopefully soon..and I would not wish this on anyone…the hell they have put us through.. I just try and show nature at it’s finest and my husband and child and I just am tired of their constant harrasment. I checked and they are not in photo life magazine as a emerging photographer..i am so frustrated…as are my husband and child… note / Many thanks to the Four Police Officers for coming out to see the video and have a chat with our neighbors (pink house)....it has been constant daily harassment from them and Perhaps this will put an end to it..and thank to Nikon for putting the video component into the camera:thumbsup: it has come in handy….have a great weekend.. / Nikon D90

  • Brooks Falls, Perry Township, just north of Elmsdale, Magnetewan river / August 2009 / Untouched wilderness waterfall located in the Almaguin Highlands of Ontario CANADA / Nikon D40, Nikkor VR 55-200mm lens Featured in All That Is Nature August 2009

  • The edge of never as always being a mixture of many things from across time and space. / So its only right that somebeing should open a bistro dedicated to the gods of ancient Egypt. / For do we really know anything about these same ancient gods, is not all we know really just conjecture. / And here at the very edge of never, will our questions will be answered…..probably not. / But still’ enjoy the moment, step through this doorway to a bistro in Space & Time…................at the edge of Never. / The food may not even be recognizable, but nothing ventured nothing…..... This is a collaboration between Lightsmith an I, I used his image The Spirit of the Egyptian King Featured in Escher and Perspective Art Group

  • On Queeblus Graino in the Stellis system lies the forbidding coast known as the Teeth of the Dragon. / Over the centuries untold numbers of vessels have been lost along this shore. But it is estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands. It can be found at the western edge of the Sargarus Sea, the Teeth have to be navigated to reach the spaceport at Rivers Mouth. / Most of the planet is a no fly zone , so sailing vessels are the only form of transpotation. A great many river pilots will tell you they know the waters here, but unless they bear the Guild of Pilots Scarass Seal on there foreheads it would bode you well not to trust them with your ship and your life. / But many captains wanting to save credits have found the Teeth of the Dragon to be their final resting place. And of course a great salvage industry as sprung up along this coast which stretches for 4,000 leagues or in modern measurement 12,000 miles.

  • Have you ever wondered what sights await far from the shores of Earth. / Out beyond our Milky Way, out there beneath distant suns. This is what I think of when I write my stories for my images, for I see in my minds eye the wonders that lie beneath those suns. And with those thoughts try to describe their majesty. / Its really an incredible view and my words fall short, yet they await…............... / Out there on the very edge of a galaxy, far, far, far, away.

  • Grand Lake, Algonquin Park Ontario, CANADA / September 26th 2009 / Nikon D40, Nikkor VR 55-200mm lens

  • Every 300 years or so the planet Hale’akala glows red with anger, it is then time when offerings are made to the Goddess Pele. A time when our old and unhealthy give themselves, so that the strong may live. Stories and legends tell that this tower that rises 500 feet above to sea was once a great sky ship, and it sailed between the stars, it brought the people here to this place. / Our people have some very strange stories, how could something so big fly? But then I am old and unhealthy, the mind is slipping….........................so

  • The river Liese wends her way to the Darkwind Sea in the northlands of Galrath. / On her way she passes many lands, but by far the strangest is the forbidding Darkling Wood. / Liese is a swift river with many rapids and falls, yet in the 300 miles through the Wood her angry waters are almost deathly calm. / When running the river one must stay in the very center of the stream, this a hard thing to do, for the currents try to pull the boat to shore. / An untold number of beings have been lost in the passage, for the Darkling Wood holds many secrets, and a great many souls. At least this is what legends, myths and stories tell. And when running the river under the great moon Rakanoth and her dark child Shadow, it is very easy to believe these myths, whether they be fact or fiction. And the entity of the Darkling Wood plays many tricks with the mind. This is a scene from the 2341 film ” Worlds of the Celts “ As with all my work its best viewed in ZOOM mode

  • I always knew the space pirate’s had a base near Saturn, and heres the proof. Now all I have to do is plan my escape …........mmmmmm!! Opening scene from the old 21 century flick “Revenge of the Space Pirates”

  • Grand Lake, Algonquin Park Ontario, CANADA / September 26th 2009 / Nikon D40, Nikkor VR 55-200mm lens / The Orton Effect If I could paint I think I would like to work on impressionistic landscapes like this. A mixture of fall color, rain and fog. There is something mystical and magical about nature under these circumstances, and soft gentle rain which brings out all the colors and softens all the edges. James Taylor
