This was taken near Wandin East at the back of the Dandenong Ranges. I was driving around through the mist and got lost. As i was coming around a bend I looked out and saw this.

This is again, from a drive through the back roads of the Dandenong ranges in Victoria. I was just driving around and stopping to photograph things that caught me eye (I wound up lost too). This is a plot of land behind a farmhouse near Seville.

The storms were fierce with a ton of rain last night. I decided to take of work and spend the day at the falls near my house. I must have snapped 200 pictures today. What a great day!! A February storm unleashes its power in the beauty of non-stop lightning over Spencer Gulf in South Australia. This 15 second exposure shows just a small sample of a spectacular night’s viewing. The tiny lit chimney, that you can see on the left (which belongs to the lead smelter in Port Pirie), is actually 205 metres in height, which gives perspective to this, the power of natures finest glory.

Hello ! Everybody I was surprised by the great responding of that picture ,that’s why i came back for more explanations.It’s true that i live in a place where nature is the queen .I’m surrounding by lakes ,trees and mountains,my friend Michel is always talking about moving but i want to die here.I’ve been creating a garden for four years now,getting pretty.No neighbors in front ,in the back only on both sides and i never see them .The only bug ,no sunsets and sunrises,i have to take the car ….big thing …. / We are surrounded by a big parc that belong to the «Université de Montreal» that means no construction for many,many yearsThe place I took that pic.is two minutes from my house.The many comments I had made me realise how lucky I am to live in a place like that .THANKS TO ALL OF YOU. Dawn over Loch Voil, (outside Balquidder, Scotland) This is the 6th in a series of 8 images taken that morning (note 5 preceding starting with ‘first light’) taken with my brandnew and very first point and shoot digi camera (a fujifinepix a500) ‘dawn mist’ and is followed by ‘dawn mist rising’ taken just after this one with the frost still on the ground… Then some hours later this lucky shot from a layby ‘mirror calm scottish loch’ / / 5 earlier images are ; / ‘first light’: ‘early mist’: ‘blanket mist’: ‘mist tree’: and ‘tree light’:

Well this is the shot that made it into the 2008 channel ten weather calendar, so I’m pretty proud of that.Getting this into the calendar was my first… ‘public’ recognition of my work so this is a pretty special shot to me. it is lightning over Adelaide looking down from Mount Osmond. It was taken in December 2006 and featured on the following nights news broadcast.

Dawn at Garie Beach, Royal National Park just south of Sydney, Australia. A seagull very obligingly flew into shot as I was taking this. Can you spot the silhouetted fishermen? / I’m lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve ever seen – it’s only a little national park (14,000 ha) but the variety of stuff to photograph is simply endlessly inspiring. Taken at the Waterrun, Royal National Park just south of Sydney. The rainbow is from some wave spray and that’s a little waterfall off to the left. / This shot was taken at dusk about an hour before Poetry of Chaos. It was amazing watching the storm come in and the colours changing and the sea swell growing. One of the great privileges of living in this park is watching the same landscapes in a myriad of different moods depending on the weather and time of day. Though dry most of the year, Antelope Canyon runs, and sometimes floods, with water after rains. It is the water, slowly wearing away the sandstone grain by grain, that has formed the beautiful and graceful curves in the rock. Wind has also played a role in sculpting this fantastic canyon. Antelope-Corkscrew Canyon, shows a powerful ray of light coming through the cavern top and illuminating the cave walls in brilliant orange-reddish colors. Antelope Canyon is so unique, it has also become known as The Corkscrew, Corkscrew Canyon, Upper Antelope, Wind Cave, or The Crack. Upper Corkscrew Canyon is located around the Navajo Reservations and usually requires a jeep to get you there. This location is just outside Page, Arizona. Photograph information: / I used a Canon Elan with a 20mm lens and negative film. / This image was taken inside the cave with a 45 second time exposure to account for reciprocity failure.
