One of the really unique things about Denver is scenes such as this. What they have done is that in the “LoDo” section (Lower Downtown) where all the nightlife, restaurants, shops, etc are at, they have restored it all. And this is an example of what they have done….when they started peeling the layers of brick away from the old buildings from the 1800s, they started to reveal some of the original advertising from the wild west days. Some signs have been fully restored while others have been left as they are.

This large cottonwood tree stands on the south side Trans Canada Hwy#1 near MacGregor MB and is said to be roughly half way between the Manitoba cities of Winnipeg & Brandon. There is another tree on north side and few miles east of this tree that is said to be the true half way tree, but it doesn’t stand out as well as this one. This is a true landmark tree, it can be seen from miles away in both directions. MY BUBBLESITE
