  • This was taken inside the Cathedral of Toledo, in Spain. It was taken on film and the print was scanned to digital. The Cathedral of Saint Mary of Toledo, also called Primate Cathedral of Toledo, is a church in Spain. The seat of the Archdiocese of Toledo, it is one of the three 13th century High Gothic cathedrals in Spain and is considered to be the magnum opus of the Gothic style in Spain. It was begun in 1226 during the reign of Ferdinand III and the last Gothic contributions were made in the 15th century when, in 1493, the vaults of the central nave were finished, during the times of the Catholic Monarchs.

  • Was taken in the Natural Bridge Caverns Va, in November 2008. / Deepest Caverns In The East / The Caverns were opened to the public in 1977. It was originally explored by Col. Henry Parsons in 1889-91, but the natural entrance was too steep for general use. When the modern development took place, some tools, a ladder, a lantern, and rope were found where they had been left in 1891. • This image was captured from Olmsted Point in the high country of Yosemite National Park just before sunset. Half Dome is a true natural wonder of the world in itself and was lit with this wonderful light from the setting sun. Needless to say I was very fortunate to have been “at the right place at the right time”, which is what landscape/nature photography is mostly all about. All content & images © Stephen Vecchiotti. • The Collegiate Church of St Peter at Westminster, which is almost always referred to popularly and informally as Westminster Abbey, is a large, mainly Gothic church, in Westminster, London, just to the west of the Palace of Westminster. It is the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English, later British and later still (and currently) monarchs of the Commonwealth Realms.
