This was originally taken in colour but converted to greyscale using channel mixer. The colour version was not exciting due to the washed out sky. I feel the monochrome version has a bit more punch to it. All comments are greatly appreciated

Buttermere is a lake in the north-west of the English Lake District. It is 1¼ miles long (2 km) by ¼ mile (400 m) wide, and is 75 feet (23 m) deep. It has an elevation above sea level of 329 feet (100 m). A place of considerable scenic value, it is situated towards the head of the valley of the river Cocker and is surrounded by fells, notably the High Stile range to the southwest, Robinson to the northeast, Fleetwith Pike and Haystacks to the southeast and Grasmoor to the northwest.

Helvellyn is a mountain in the English Lake District, the apex of the Eastern Fells. / At 3,117 ft above sea level, it is the third highest peak in both the Lake District and England. The peak of Helvellyn is the highest on the north-south ridge situated between the Thirlmere valley to the west, and Patterdale to the east.
