It was a promise to myself that i would continue shooting this magnificant tree. I really wanted to get this image back to the original angle that i first captured it some months ago. Now finally i have it, and i’m happy with this result. A large file is what i wanted as the bigger the better for these giants. / I think the structure and movement of these beauties are highlighted better and hopefully you like it too. / Photographed in Fitzroy Melbourne 2007

In the first quarter of the 21st Century multiple countries are planning to establish permanent lunar colonies. The reasons are many but one of the main reasons are for the resources of the Moon which can be made into components for the human exploration of Mars. / / There are some elements that are in abundance in the lunar environment that will help with the biosphere of Earth. Many scientists are working on processes that will alleviate some of the energy issues that have gotten worse over time. Though the orb called Earth is our home, we as a society are slowly degrading the quality of our home world. / / As we move out into the Universe by first placing permanent colonies upon the lunar surface then outward into our solar system, hopefully, we will take the lessons learned by mismanagement of our home planet’s environment to heart as we move out into the stars. To live within our environment and future environments will allow us to expand outward to new discoveries and worlds which will allow for our species to grow as well as prosper. At the same time the cautionary note should be at what cost to the environments in which we plan to place our imprint. / / Will the lunar surface be scarred with “robotic” strip mining? / Will we unleash environmental disasters by ignoring the history of our own societies mistakes? / Will we honor what we have learned to be more eco-friendly as we begin to explore the vastness of space? / / Only time will tell if we are a society which learns from our mistakes or a society that consumes at all costs even to our own detriment. / / Some groups that you may want to visit and join: / AW Welcome Center / EF Welcome Center / Globes, Spheres and Curves / DaDa Land / Boolean Art / Fantasy Art / Human and Nature / Light and Reflections / Disclaimer

On Nasuvacuity Evonda the natural bridge that spans Nodenial Creek that is part of the palatial gardens of Emperor Snenascretinous’ summer residence on Impmenrobitydacious the 4th moon of Yeggoria on the edge of Ensliar close to the IPUP borders. Yeggoria has a temperate climate that allows for many of the high ranking officials of the Ensliar elite to summer and enjoy their leisure times. Where’s the water gone There’s a rather sad phenomenon that’s plaguing our great land / And just like the wary gambler it’s about to play it’s hand. / All the signs have been quite evident and round now for a spell / But we’ve fobbed them off, ignored them all, as far as I can tell. From the times of early childhood when my family drove around / All the creeks were full of water and the bores were rather sound, / Sure enough the droughts they came and went but mate, I have to say / that our Nation’s running kind of dry, hard times are on the way. Hey I think we’ve done our dash old son ‘cause what is going on. / All our dams and bores are getting low and where’s the water gone. / We will have to make some changes and mate make them pretty fast, / as the water’s disappearing and it sure as hell won’t last. Though we’ve held bad hands in years gone by we’ve always lived in hope, / that the rains were somewhere in the deck and til then we would cope. / But the evidence is ominous and looking rather bleak / and we’d do well to consider all the havoc it could wreak. We need each and every one of us to play a vital role, / as we’re playing for high stakes here and there’s need for self-control. / All will have to change the lifestyles that they’ve been accustomed to / And we’ll have to play our hands right and seek out an Ace or two. The doe took a little time off from busy eating for the photo opportunity, although she didn’t want to give up the tasty colorful leaf. By now everyone who has ever seen my work knows that I’m absolutely “addicted” to develop a deep relationship and establish an intimate communication with mule deer (we don’t have a lot of white-tailed deer around here).
