This is a shot of a Lancer preparing for a sharp bend downhill in the Experts Cup Rally last year in Collie. Note how sideways the car is, so he can flip the car around with speed. This particular day was very wet, however, the heavens seemed to dry when my camera came out. I went out with my Dad on this excursion. One car didn’t quite make the turn, but stopped just in front of him. All part of the excitement of the whole event.

Telstra Rally Australia. / These images are between 2004 and the last event in 2006. From 1988 up until 2006 inclusive, this round of the World Rally Championships was conducted in Western Australia. This extraordinary successful event was, in the main, organised and run by some 2000 volunteer officials. Right to the end these officials received world acclaim for innovation, safety and professionalism and were presented with numerous awards including, on three occasions, the prestigious “Rally of the Year”. This calender is dedicated to those very hard working officials without whom the event would not have occurred let alone this calender. I am proud to have been a part of that team. The cover shows: / (clockwise from top left) / Satisfied spectators, Ford Driver Mikko Hirvenon, Finland; Citroen Driver Sebastion Loeb, France; Subaru Driver Chris Atkinson, Australia; Ford Driver Marcus Gronholm, Finland, a happy Miss Rally Australia Winner and Subaru Driver Petter Solberg, Norway. USAF B1-B Lancer It made a few 900km passes, great big fast bomber. / They have a motto in latin, I could not pronounce it, but loosely translated their motto is Death From Above This photo is as taken, it was not cropped, I fluked it as it went overhead.

An EVO Lancer driven by Schofield bursts out into the sun, Bindo SS 2, Rally of Lithgow. This rally was part of the NSW State Rally Championships held in the Jenolan State Forest near Lithgow in April 2009.
