Every afternoon on my way home from work I would see that lamp post coupled with the Harbour Bridge and I’d think to myself “That would make for a great shot”. An infrared photo I took a while ago… but I just found it again on my computer. The title is from the song playing at the moment on iTunes….I’m lost for inspiration – “One Crowded Hour” by Augie March from their album “Moo, You Bloody Choir” – well worth a listen if you haven’t heard it.

BEST VIEWED FULL SIZE! A just-for-fun compilation of 2 images. I took the sunset on January 28, 2009 from my backyard … one of those rare occasions when we really got amazing colors. The birds on the light pole were taken in Pennsylvania on January 12, 2009. I don’t know what it is about this particular light pole, but large numbers of pigeons can usually be found grouped together here. The two images were combined in Photoshop.

BEST VIEWED LARGE!!!! This piece of fantastic Abstract Art appeared on a 50 foot X 20 foot wall near Leeds City train station. I dont think the building is getting used at present. The wall is normally White with quite a few chips and scratches and the odd bit of childish graffitti written. So when i was strolling by one day, this vibrant pinky-purple beauty lept out from the wall and said ‘look at me, im freshly done, and look fantastic!!’ so what else could i do except get my camera out and take lots of photographs. I think is a real stunning piece of abstract art, and you cant miss it, as this was a white wall and now the colour jumps out in front of you and demands you look… / i have took a section of the art and put it with the contrasting white wall and lamp postt i dont know anything about this art. i dont know who, what , how or when it was created

‘Made public’ by request. This is in the Victorian Village at Flambards theme park, Helston, Cornwall, UK. It is an actual reconstruction of Victorian times, with the sounds and smells to match the era. Shot with a white balance set to Tungsten and an iso of 1600, as flash photography is not allowed inside the village. Hope you like it. / Thanks for looking. Best Viewed Large.
