My Sapphire Coast slideshow on YouTube can be found here The Sapphire Coast, located south of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia remains virtually untouched from development. Tathra Wharf Witness the unloading of the catch-of-the-day, visit a winery, taste award-winning cheeses, grab a bargain at a market, attend a festival, indulge in delectable oysters, go whale watching and take in some of the local history. Merimbula – Long Point The towns of Bermagui, Tathra, Bega, Merimbula, Pambula and Eden all have that bit of sapphire magic. Standing Stone State Park / Lake Trail Boat House / August 2009
Through my eyelids at our favorite swimming spot.
This hot air balloon is about to take a dip into Prospect Lake in Memorial Park at the Colorado Balloon Classic 2009, Colorado Springs, CO. Dipping is where the bottom of the basket touches the surface of the water. This digital art photography effect, combined with the fractalius filter (many uses and effects), gives the modern day image a 1950s feel, along with a bicycler, old pick up trucks, etc. The pastel colors are soothing to the eye.
Taken in St. Albans, Vermont at Lake Champlain September 2009. It was late afternoon and I liked the lighting.
Mute swan on LLangors Lake, Wales
Took this photo last fall at Lake Needwood Park. I love the reflection of the fall trees on the water.
The annual music festival usually held on the Lakes bank-now a paddock!
Lake Charlegrark-now, not much of a diving problem!
Swans on the peaceful lake,Two Swans Swimming
This used to be a favourite swimming hole of mine, long before it became affected by the drought. Each time I go back, the water level is lower than the last time, and in some parts there is no water at all in the river. / Where you can see land on the far left, I can remember when the water covered that, and if I was swimming there my feet couldnt touch the ground.
Photo/painting: Family group in lake
Over the summer, using a piece of PVC piping I had lying around, I built this contraption to hold fountain fireworks in the end of it. Upon lighting it the client snatched it, ran down the pier, and jumped into the water. Don’t try this at home! Monopoly money and bicycle cards on index card with sharpie marker. Mixed Media.
This was taken at the lake from the top of an ‘old fashioned’ metal slide. I loved the reflection and how the slide just draws you down.
I thought these 9 swans were really pretty, to bad i didn’t have a zoom lens with me !
