Perfectly smooth ice from the Minnesota to the Wisconsin shoreline on Lake Superior just north of Duluth, in February 2007, encouraged people to do things seldom seen or done on this Great Lake. It was truly a Superior Play Day as winter wind sailing, kites, hockey games, distance skaters and even bicycles took to the ice for 3-4 days. I blended a photo of a boat taken at Seneca Lake with a background and layered them together in Photoshop CS3. I used a Minolta Dimage Z6 on auto settings. /

Yep what you see is part of iced lake ready to skate on it ;) Ummm but there is cracks everywhere it’s falling apart …OK just admire it you should have come a week earlier for the skating save your gears to the next winter … ... to be continued
