Silverbell Lake, Tucson AZ I think everyone can see that I added the bird and the reflection of the bird in the water. The reflection would not look like that really. I did not import the bird image, it is my own. So this is a composite image.
Sunset over salt lake remains, Meningie, South Australia. Last light, bold clouds and colour over an old salt pan area between Meningie and Salt Creek.
My inspitation comes from the beauty of Mother Nature, weather it be sunup or sundown, seeing land and seascapes to rainbows and storms and everything in between. Tis my reason for wanting to get out of bed in the morning and live my life. Each day is a new day, waiting to be explored. Taken on a not so warm day. The breeze was bitterly cold

Grand Lake, Algonquin Park Ontario, CANADA / September 26th 2009 / Nikon D40, Nikkor VR 55-200mm lens / The Orton Effect If I could paint I think I would like to work on impressionistic landscapes like this. A mixture of fall color, rain and fog. There is something mystical and magical about nature under these circumstances, and the soft gentle rain which brings out all the colors and softens all the edges.
