Collection of landscapes taken around the Lake District in Cumbria which have been converted into albumen to give that vintage feel. Where possible, they contain little of the modern world to show how little parts of Cumbria have changed on the surface.

Mt. Rainier National Park has 1.3 million visitors each year. The park contains 368 square miles, with the Wonderland hiking trail going around the park. Mt. Rainier is part of the Cascade range and stands 14,410 feet high and has 26 glaciers. The most popular visitor areas are Sunrise and Paradise, both covered with subalpine wildflowers in July and August. There are many hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls to visit, some right along the road that winds around the Eastern and Southern borders of the park.

Rocky Mountain National Park is located in northern Colorado. There are many peaks here above 12,000 and 13,000 feet. The park also includes Long’s Peak at 14,259’. Trail Ridge Road is the highest, longest continuous road in the country, with eleven miles above timberline. Many species of wildlife live in the park, include deer, elk, mountain lion, black bears, pika, and marmots.

A selection of photos taken in an area of Upper Bavaria called Werdenfelser Land, near the German Alps. Well loved by day trippers from Munich, whether for swimming, cycling and walking in summer or skating and skiing in winter. There many ponds and lakes left behind by the ice-age or later. My calendar includes shots of the following photogenic lakes: Rieg, Soiern, Staffel, Walchen and the mill pond in Uffing. But there are many more!
