This lovely waterscape was photographed from the shore of Perch Hole, a part of the Lake Innes , just south of Port Macquarie , NSW, Australia, late on an autumn afternoon. Fuji S9600, hand held. I had set out to shoot just the waterscape until I heard the boat coming from my left so I pre-focussed and waited until the boat was between the two trees. We so often sit and watch television or pine the time away indoors doing something – something that in some ways adds very little to your life if you think about it for long. Yet just over the hill from where I live this is the view that you can witness. And it will be slightly different every day and every hour, and from different vantage points around Lake Macquarie in Australia. Took the boys to the park this avo and stopped by the Lake on the way home. I set up the camera with my ND400 filter to get some long exposures – that way I could keep an eye on the boys whilst the camera did it’s thing.
