  • Sunrise at Wye River … just off the Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia

  • Sunset sunbeams come down to the central shortgrass prairie of SE Colorado as if projected from eyes scanning the grassland below. Taken near Comanche National Grassland on private land.

  • Do you want to stop? Captured with a Canon 5D and 85mm 1.8 USM prime lens. / No digital manipulations, no tricks. / I took this shot on a vulcanic mountain on the beautiful island of La Palma. / There was a road going almost all the way up to the highest mountain since there are three world-class telescopes in the Roque de Los Muchachos Observatory on La Palma (the scientists have to drive up there easily). Since it’s one of the steepest islands of the world you get these amazing views. I took this shot around 2400m above sea level. When I saw the stop sign it caught my interest immediately.

  • The sound of Awakening / (Captured with a Canon 5D + 16-35L II lens) Since my mother is a Yoga teacher she asked me if I could take some interesting pictures with a tibetan singing bowl for her. So I went all the way up to the “Roque de los Muchachos” (La Palma, 2400 metres above sea level). In Buddhist practice, singing bowls are used as a support for meditation. / When I was looking for an interesting perspective, I found an interesting bush with the mountains being in the background

  • This was taken at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in downtown Los Angeles. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. This is probably the most different photo I have submitted in a long time. I spend most of my photographing time in the mountains 300 miles from my home. I live less than an hour from L.A. but I rarely venture there. There was an art festival going on and it sounded fun so I went.

  • Taken from the top of the arch de triumph looking towards la defence, amazing red sky, could not believe my luck. Canon 40D / F16 / ISO 100

  • “Over the Rainbow” ~ Detail near Las Pozas in Xilitla, Mexico. ~ Feb. 2009

  • I am very happy on April 25, 2009 this photograph was featured on the HOME PAGE of RedBubble. As Shelley Heath kindly explained to me, Anzac Day in Australia is a day for remembrance of those lost through war. Red poppies are used as a symbol for remembering the fallen soldiers. April 25 already was a special day to me: it’s the Legal Holiday of the Liberation of my country, Italy, as well as my grandma’s birthday. Thank you for making it even more beautiful. Here is the Screen Shot of the Home Page: Just a few info about this picture: - It was taken with a point & shoot camera; - Most of my pictures are almost SOOC, I don’t like editing them with Photoshop or other software. I may use some filters, but all things I could have done with a ‘real’ filter, if I had it. My equipment is made up of only a camera and a lens now, unfortunately. / To me using Photoshop is indeed a kind of art, but not something which has to do with ‘photography’. - I love those power lines. I wanted them to be in the picture. This is my personal idea of composition. Everything doesn’t have to be perfect, to be beautiful. HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF THE ITEMS YOU CAN BUY: / If you are interested in any of them, please click the buy / preview button above and select the features which best suit your needs – Thank you very much! *
