When the storms rage on Krill in the Alimand system we all take cover, beast and Krill alike. / The storms here can last for weeks, but it is our little bit of the galaxy we call home. And when the sky is clear, you can see Great Moona, the glowing star Greel, / and also the far planet Saphire. / Best viewed from the Mountains above Krill City/Stardock.
This is the view from Garands Lookout high above the city-state Krill City/Stardock. / It is the centre of commerce and Alliance headquarters for this section of the Gamma – Omega Quadrant. / In the night sky we see Great Moona,Glowing Greel and Saphire. On the far side of the planet Great Moona’s orbit causes violent storms that can last for weeks on end.
In for the Krill’s protagonist with his flipper on the pulse, as usual. Perfect for penguin-lovers, poetry fans, or every reader of In for the Krill with a cold mid-section.
With a backdrop of Great Moona,we have a view of the city beyond Krill Stardock, and the Blue Towers of the elite, only those with vast sums of money can afford to live here, high above the peasants.

Double exposure collaboration with Colleen Boyle. We each took a roll of colour film that we exposed in our own cameras, rewound the film, and then handed it over to the other one to reshoot in their camera. Colleen composed her images using a standard SLR camera. I had a Lomo SuperSampler camera which I set on a 2 second exposure whilst moving the camera round in the general direction of an interesting textural element. I often took a 2 or 3 photos of the same element. The central panel through which you can clearly see Colleen’s image was created from the space between the frames of my images. Neither one of us had any idea how these images would turn out, neither in the subject matter that we each photographed nor the alignment of the images. We were both very pleased with the accidental compositions.
