  • Urban Cockatoo / It’s interesting to see that even though there is so much city surrounding this location, the wild birds still come to visit. Only thing is, that this isn’t your typical wild bird, because it was tame, VERY tame! Location: Sydney – NSW – Australia (Around Wooloomooloo?) / Date: June 08th, 2008 – 3:50pm / Camera: Canon EOS 30D / Lens: Canon EF 50mm – ƒ/1.8 MkII All images are © Nicholas Kremer. • Passage to Paradise One of Lawson’s little hidden gems! People have been visiting this spot for over one hundred years. There is a rock with some carvings, and the oldest legible one dating back to 1883. Further down the track is an abandoned picnic area, where the picnic table is missing it’s top. The table has been there so long now that it’s beginning to look like it’s surroundings, all green and mossy. Location: Dante’s Glen, Lawson – NSW / Date: June 16th, 2008 – 5:25pm / Camera: Canon EOS 30D / Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22mm – ƒ/3.5-4.5 USM All images are © Nicholas Kremer. • This is Australia’s gold. This flower is one of my local Wattle varieties Acacia terminalis. I had a lot of trouble identifying which variety it was. To put this into perspective, there are over 2000 different varieties found throughout Australia, and around 20-30 varieties for my area alone! Location: Blue Mountains, Lawson – NSW / Date: June 23rd, 2008 / Camera: Canon EOS 30D / Lens: Canon EF-S 17-85mm – ƒ/4.5-5.6 IS USM w/ 4x Macro filter attachment All images are © Nicholas Kremer. • A beautiful misty sunrise, in the glorious Blue Mountains! Taken South-West of Katoomba along Narrow Neck Ridge. Aligned perfectly with the sun rising directly over the three sisters, and echo point at the southern end of Katoomba. Although they are not recognisable here, they are hiding in the glare! The tall pines are probably the biggest give away! I hope you like the shot, I battled the cold to capture this one :)

  • Taken at the Saratoga Automobile Museum during the annual Porsche show. Model : NIKON D80 / Software : Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 / ExposureTime : 1/90Sec / FNumber : F4.8 / Flash : Not fired / FocalLength : 18.00(mm) / FocalLength(35mm) : 27(mm) / Contrast : Normal / Saturation : Normal / Sharpness : Normal / Nikkor 18-135 / / /
