Princess Caves was taken along the Railay Peninsula, Southern Thailand. / The whole coastline is like this, dramatic and craggy limestone. Railay also being a rock climbing mecca in these parts with climbers coming from all over the world to climb these monoliths…thanks for looking.. / rgs, Rob.
Not quite the monsoon season in Thailand but it’s not far away.. / The clouds often build in the late afternoon, sometimes with some decent light shows in the evening. Taken at Phrangan Cave ~ Railay ~ Krabi Province, a couple weeks back…..thanks for looking.
I started working on this image. hdr’ing 3 shots, when the tones came out all weird…well weird, but I like it…!! / It was in fact getting quite dark while taking the shots, so the atmosphere is true to form….Taken along the Krabi Coastline, (Thailand), at low, low tide…The longtail boats all lined up ready for service when the next day dawns. / A fairly memorable shot for me, I can still here the prayer songs echoing along the quiet shoreline, the sun setting behind the Railay Peninsula in the background. / thanks for looking….cheers, Rob.
Low tide revealing coral heads along Pak Nam Beach ~ Phi Phi Island ~ Southern Thailand. Taken early morning with the sun just having broken the horizon.
Sunset at Ao Nang, Krabi province, Thailand.
Sunset taken along the Krabi Coast, Southern Thailand…The Railay Peninsula in the background.
Panorama taken at Phra Nang Bay ~ Railay Peninsula ~ Southern Thailand… / I lugged my heavy panorama head across the world and didn’t get to use it a hell of a lot…. at least I got a few of them in, this being one of them…. / This one is one part crop of a 270 deg. pan…24 images..8 shot pan x 3 shot hdr…always tests your pc out, these ones…!! thanks for looking and comments always welcome..

Low, low tide revealing the reef along Phi Phi Islands Pak Nam Beach ~ Thailand…Taken early Morning a few weeks ago….Pak Nam is about the best of Phi Phi’s snorkeling area’s and we were lucky enough to have a beach shack right on this beach here for awhile..Also not the Phi Phi that most people would see as it’s along the remote East Coast…thanks for looking and comments most welcome as always…cheers, Rob..
One of the features of some of the beaches and islands around Krabi, Thailand.
A beautiful sunset light over the beach at Ao Nang, Krabi. I used the widest lens I could as the lights seemed to soar way into the evening sky. One of my favourite images and favourite places.
So many beautiful limestone formations throughout the islands of the Krabi area and so hard to pick which one to start with! This one appealed to me with its array of tree specimens all over, so I thought I’d begin here. / All comments & views appreciated.
Here’s a shot of a lovely little brown leaf floating by in the waters of a rather nice area! (Krabi Thailand). Thanks as always for any views and remarks. / Cheers, / Matt
This is one of those images I can’t make up my mind about. I don’t often play with HDR but thought I would for this one. Anyway, this is taken at Krabi Town, Thailand.
A beautiful flower outside a restaurant in Krabi, Thailand. Unfortunately I am not sure what type of flower it is. If anyone can help out I would love to know!
Longtail boats at Koh Gai (Chicken Island), Krabi, Thailand. I didn’t even notice the name of the boat when the shot was taken. I like it though.
This shot was taken along Phi Phi islands quiet east coast. Not the Phi Phi most people would see but very special in it’s own quiet way. An eerie atmosphere wandering around this area and also very sad as this section of coast, as with much of Phi Phi was badly hit by the 04 Tsunami that devastated little fishing villages all along the coast. Some locals continue to clean up the area and evening fires are ever present as shown in this shot…thanks for looking and as always, comments are most welcome….rgs, Rob.
Our ride for the day in parked position whilst we explored (photographed) the Island. Those bright red ribbons had to be captured!!
Cool dusk tones and the end of another day out at Phi Phi Island ~ Southern Thailand. Worked this one a little more and gave it some hdr lovin, compared to one of my previous uploads from this here tree…thanks for looking..
A stunning sunset at Krabi, Thailand. I love the golden splash of colour on the sea. Scan from Kodak E100G – My all-time favourite film !
