One of the more modern huts in the Kosciusko National park. Built in 2007 after the previous one destroyed by fire.

Blowering Dam is near Tumut on the edge of the Kosciosko National Park. It is also part of the Snowy Mountains Scheme. / You can see, if you look around the edges, that the dam is only at about 40% capacity. / It was a fairly bleak day, but the sun would filter through every now & then. Timing was important for the shot. That & HDR has helped to bring up the detail. Nikon D200 / 18-200 vr lens / F10 / 1/160 / ISO 100 / Focal length 52mm
