taken at Fountaines Abbey in Yorkshire – and amazing medieval monastry – this is Fleur trying to get in a locked door.
If there’s going to be trouble you might want this guy on your side.

Crowded into the open ring of an old tree stump, these tiny mushrooms seem to jockey for pride of place!
I used to love Dr Who when I was young. The Daleks freaked me out and I would hold an umbrella whilst watching so I could put it up and hide when the Daleks came on.. he he! Enjoy! Brother Adam Youtube Video .
I am only uploading this b&w version for my portflolio – I think it will look better than sepia – a more cohesive body of work (I am keeping the sepia version but moving it down). This image has been sitting here unpublished for a very long time. Thank you for looking. Debxx
A super day on the Ohio River!shot with a d50 Nikon.

Wearing this on a shirt might finally confirm for you or your friends, that one of you may be crazy.
For the most recent speed tee challenge over at A T-shirt Revolution. The passage used is from the last scene of the first half of The Outsider. I’m sure you know it: My whole being went tense and I tightened my grip on the gun. The trigger gave, I felt the underside of the polished butt and it was there, in that sharp but deafening noise, that it all started. I shook off the sweat and the sun. I realized that I’d destroyed the balance of the day and the perfect silence of this beach where I’d been happy. And I fired four more times at a lifeless body and the bullets sank in without leaving a mark. And it was like giving four sharp knocks at the door of unhappiness.
Saw this old 1905 Church of England Mission room while walking through the tiny village of Knock in the Eden valley Cumbria, very close to Applebey in westmorland. / Shot with a Nikon D300 and 18-70mm lens. / I first HDRd it to give it a bit of detail then mucked around with layers and textures too. / Hope you like it.. /
Featured in Equine Art and Photography October 2009 / Shot close to the village of Knock in the Eden valley in Cumbria, saw these horses and foals (Possibly Shires), this one didn’t seem at all concerned when we all came by, until an apple was shown… / Shot with a Nikon D300 and 18-70mm lens / Added textured layers and different blending modes.. /

A selection of images that portray the deepest emotions of childhood – the dreamworld, the surreal, happiness and joy as well as their vulnerability. I am also very happy to make calenders on an individual basis :) Thanks for looking. An updated calender of images inspired by childhood. Please let me know if you think other images should have been included.
When things worried me, either as a child or adult, my grandad would always say to me that ‘time passes’. Whatever seemed challenging or scary will pass – you will pass through it. It sounds simple but it is a saying that stays with me even now. These images are memories. Not always actual events but feelings, emotions conveyed from the recess of my mind to the camera. I have made this calender so that I can add new work.
