The Pilot Mountain Knob is visible for miles on HWY 52. You can walk around the base of the knob and the view is spectacular. This was taken at Pilot Mountain State Park in northern North Carolina.

There is nothing more satisfactory than tweaking and perfecting those dials on a great Marshall amp and getting the exact sound you are looking for. Whether it be a crisp, clean sound you are looking for or a rough metal sound that almost pierces the eardrums.
The Jack Lead. It just craves to be plugged in and start creating.

The valley from Route “JJ”, with Pilot Knob Mountain in the distance. The mountain’s iron smelting furnaces more than a century past cast a red glow into the night sky, providing a landmark for river pilots on the Mississippi 50 miles to the east, thus its name. this isnt that great, but it was fun to do. we are running a contest in our group over on eye fetch.. we had to photoshop a door knob http://www.sxc.hu/photo/1093619 so i turned the door knob into the flowers, used parts of it for the lil leaves, then i used other parts of it to make the rocks around the pond, then i drew out the shape of the mountains and used the knob for the texture. the planet is the center of the knob.. the clouds are from the cloud rendering in PS and the water was done with brushes and the flood filter. the birds are brushes. so its not my best, but i still like it, and i hope you do too :)
Funny name huh? Big butte mountain is located appx 8 miles from Mt. Mitchell state park. It is the one in the far most left corner of the shot with snow atop.
New, exciting and vibrant yellow and blue front door.
Another one of my fun Saturday morning escapades that took me out into the country. I believe the building was an old gas station, once upon a time. Taken with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi.
