The Cross is definitely a focal point for this creation. I started with a simple idea and tweeked it with style and tribal influence.
Action gives way to creativity and yet the simplicity of a crescent moon is celebrated tribal style.
Perhaps some influence from living through the age of arcades. Sci Fi never was this cool as only tribal can make it.
Not quite a simple cross. This is of a masculine genre. It’s shape and design is resolute and uncompromising. Definitely a good expression of dynamic thought.
Not just a collection of hearts, this is a drawing of motion and form fused in astheticly pleasing shape. It’s light hearted and has no dark impression!

It’s been said that this drawing is a little to feminine for some men. Maybe so, but the tribal makes it look tough.
Aggressive and dark is the best impression this piece gives. Definitely masculine in nature. At the start, I intended this to be light, kinda with wings. But when my son scanned it upside down…. it took on a whole new life. I hope the idea of motion is captured by what was supposed to be wings.
I wasn’t sure, at first, about inverting the color scheme…. but boy I think I like it!! Thanks are due to fellow artists who suggested giving this a try. It may look better this way, than originally. The image seems to “pop”!
Like the others… I liked seeing this done differently. My thanks once again to my fellow rb members!
Who says flight has to take place only during the day? This may look like a night background….. but it does emphasize the tribal impression of birds or hearts flying.
This design seemed to be kind of hovering in mid air…. what with the focus going to the bottom point. The finished look was that of some kind of alien probe or robot. I’ve seen too much of Flash Gordon or something!
This new work was inspired by one of my flowering plants trying open before the frost comes soon. Not any one particular plant, it is kind of sad that life struggles on to the last minute. Nature always wins though, as winter comes as always. Even if they come back in the spring I’m always a little depressing to say farewell to the lovely blossoms and their vibrant colors.
The striking resemblance to a bat put naming this work would be quite a dilemma. Since I’ve already added a design called Tribal Bat, it was obvious that the use of the word “bat” might be repetitious. Instead, the hearts that make up the core of the design equated to “love”....and since bats are nocturnal, it seemed just perfect. The application of hearts seems to be very popular, so I’ve incorporated it into much of my new creations.
Description is written under the artwork version of the same title.
I hate cats. But I love the one on this teapot…....so what if it were to ‘come alive’ through the magic of digital manipulation…....wouldn’t that be cool…...so I thought…..well I could sort of make it come alive…....so I put it on this shirt…..so maybe it is sort of alive…...........so what…......well…....I don’t know…....its just art…..
