Knitto Pinko submitted her resignation as head knitter to Farmer O’MacDonald a year ago. She decided that she no longer wanted to knit designs that she was in the least passionate about. Her dream was to have her own shop of knitwear, designed by her with 100% wool.Knowing her dream extended beyond the boundaries of this farm which she had grown so familiar with, she took on the challenges that awaited her outside nevertheless. There was no turning back since. Here she is…focusing so intently on this lovely pink knitwear for her new shop, Knitty Gritties :D / /

My little kitty, who isn’t so little any more. I found this lovely kitty in the bushes on the side of Gumby’s Pizza next door to where I used to work. I went outside and heard this loud repeating noise, kind of sounded like a cat I guess. So I looked around and finally saw her. She was so young her eyes had just opened, I guess she was a week old at the most. I waited a little bit to see if her momma cat would come by, but nothing happened so I picked her up and saved her little life. I guess she has 8 more to go…

Kitty was helping me set up for a Still Life shot and at the end, she refused to move out of the way. According to her, “Still Life” does not mean a picture of inanimate objects, but rather a picture of a cat, or perhaps a kitten, being very still. At least she compromised by letting me add a piece of fruit. And so you have, by Kitty’s reckoning, the purrfect Still Life shot. She’s depressed… I joke !...
This is my black persian, Persia. I rescued her from a high-kill shelter of November of 2008. GOOD THING! She is a breathtakinly beautiful creature that has the friendliest nature. She is a bit hard to photograph as she is very active but I did manage to get this fantastic photo of her. In my editing of this photo I basically opened it up in Bridge in Photoshop and enhanced and darkened the black ( fur). I then proceeded to make a copy of the image and softened the background. A little bit of highlighting on her eyes and this is the final, finished product.
