  • This is another mixed medium painting and is 100% imaginative. I started by doing the clouds and sky, using acrylic. I then drew the kite and filled it in with white acrylic. Next, I drew the hatching on the kite with Staedtler triplus fineliner pens and used coloured pencils and fineliners to add shading to the clouds. I used the fineliners to hatch the sky, cross-hatching the upper part as that is always darker than near the horizon. FEATURED BY IMAGES & IDEAS – 20th June 2009

They can be found in many countries, including Asia, Philippines, India and Australia. They are a medium sized Bird of Prey, or Eagle, with a strongly hooked beak for ripping through meat.
