This picture is a study in fetishism. I had this idea to juxtapose the softness of a rose against the harshness of a long black leather glove. In some “cultures” the two together create a very powerful message. Screw The Roses, Send Me The Thorns is a book that tackles the topic of sadomasochism which is partially where I got the idea for this pic.

Model: Tiffany / Taken with my Canon 450D, ISO 100. Focal length of 24mm, f/ 4.5, 1/250sec. This was lit with one Alienbee B800 strobe and edited using Lightroom 2.
