I took this photo yesterday and really loved the natural and sweet look of the girls. The filters I used were:backlighting and watercolor, then I desaturated it. “http://images-3.redbubble.net/img/art/border:blackwithdetail/product:mounted-print/size:medium/view:preview/1752611-2-three-of-a-kind.jpg”
Inspired by tattooing and the seventies. Two retro lovers.

21 cm x 30 cm / Encoustic art on encoustic paper an art stile wich I love to work with, for one becsue it is easy to do and second I love to eddit them on Paint shop pro :) Encoustic art is art where you work with coloured wax blocks that you melt on a flat iron. You can by special paper (witch is a bit like the kind of paper you use to print pictures on) when the wax melts you apply it on the paper and start ironing. That is the base technique, than you can also use a sort of solder to actually draw lines with. Like I did with the art pieces Silver Bird of Passion, Ferry of the mountain, A mountains tale etc. etc. It takes time to make art pieces so patience is a virtue (big smile) stil I love to work with this art stile. The only down side of it is, that it is wax, so when you put the original in a frame and you put the art piece in a sunny spot at home, it could melt. But then again if you put it in a hall way or something you can enjoy it for a long, long time :).
