a juxtaposition of Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, and Marilyn Monroe (a.k.a. Norma Jeane Mortensen). this image is about the women (legitimate & alleged) in President J.F.K.’s life; the resemblance between these two women is striking to say the least. 2004
You’ve seen the movie, now own the T-Shirt! Sorry if this is a little on the morbid side… To be honest – I love this one.

A bushfire in Port Kennedy sends its plume of smoke across the setting sun giving the feeling of a live Aboriginal Flag flying in the sky. Very spiritual.

on this date 45 years ago, one of the most loved presidents was assassinated. / it was on this date in novemember 22, 1963, John Fitzgerald Kennedy who wanted to change the world, was taken down by the very people who wanted things to stay the same. / occassionally i wonder, what if…. / what if he hadnt been assassinated.. / would our guys in vietnam had come home sooner? / would the world be in a better place? / would our societies get along? / would racism finally slow down to a nil? / would our country still be a strong one, confident and not living in fear? / we wont ever know / it’s a shame we now have a man who wants to bring peace within this country and around the world, has to worry about facing the same dilemma as the most loved president of our country did. i deliberately shot at this angle, coming up with the title in my head as i was shooting. i didnt want the “end” date there, as if he still lived on, just as his eternal flame lives on.
