I’m an hot rodder at heart. I love all cars but especially hot rods, customs cars of the 50’s and 60’s muscle cars, Jags, Ferraris, Vettes, Austin Healeys, exotics, Model A’s, Model T’s and old pickup trucks… Source for this image is a digital photo I took at a local car show in September 2008. I removed some of the clutter from the background and replaced the sky with one from another digital photo I shot… Using the Topaz-Adjust plugin until I got something that looked sort of ‘paintery’... All editing was done in PSPP ver X2… Cheers Kenmo

Source for this image is a digital photo I took at a recent car show in September 2008. I removed the background clutter from the image but left the grass ground… I merged in a sky image and ran the image through Topaz-Adjust plugin, then applied a texture and frame in PSPP X2…

Source of this image is a digital photo I took in 2005 with my then new Canon A610 Powershot camera… The image’s colours were massaged in Paint Shop Pro Paint X2 via the Topaz-Adjust plugin. I then ran Fractalius to get a sketchy look and applied a texture via Paint Shop…. Cheers Kenmo

All hand painted by me except for the sea & sky. I created and rendered the water & sky in 3D using Vue Po Studio 7.0. Most of the painting was done in Corel Painter IX.5. Color correction and cropping was done in Corel Paint Shop Pro X2… As an exercise I used no reference photos or drawings for painting of this including the girl and the dog… Cheers Kenmo

Billy Bishop is officially credited with 72 victories, making him the top Canadian ace, and according to some sources, the top ace of the British Empire….
