I shot this while volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in New Orleans during May of 2007. This photo is dedicated to all people whose lives were affected by Hurricane Katrina.

Ecce Panis Angelorum which translates from Latin to mean “Behold the Bread of Angels” is taken from “Lauda Sion” written by St. Thomas Aquinas before the year 1274. These words from that hymn are above the main altar of the St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans, Louisiana. Although most of that city was devastated during Hurricane Katrina two years ago, the Cathedral escaped harm and it is as beautiful as it ever was. I took this picture of the main altar on Sunday, September 16, 2007.

acrylic on canvas / did this one month b4 katrina while in florida…had a dream and originally titled this “the huirricane” before katrina actually struck, was in south miami during hurrican katrina….scared the hell outta me…changed the title to Hurricane katrina one i realized my dream was actually another one of my premonitions..

My Girlfriend and I were in New Orleans, La from Oct. 1, 2008- Oct. 08, 2008. It’s a great city. As you’ll see in this series of Pictures. New Orleans has rebuilt a lot, but there is still alot to be rebuilt. They are Kind, generous people, who appreciate our tourism. If you have a chance please go visit soon. They really need our help! A portion of the proceeds from this picture, will be donated to organizations, in order to help rebuild New Orleans! This Picture was taken, from the plane on the way to New Orleans! Miracles of miracles 2000 to 2008 it never happened…poof…President King George W. Debacle Bush and his gang of water boarding torturers it was just a nightmare it never happened. The Iraqi War it never happened…Katrina it never happened…Republicans spending more money than any previous administrations and creating a huge government it never happened…The Wall Street Bailout it never happened…ask any Republican 2000 to 2008 it never happened. The Republican Party shrinking down to a sorry befuddle leaderless aimless none relevant Party of No is what they have become and that is a tragedy of denial. Until they repudiate the Rush Limbaugh’s and his ilk and deny the likes of Sarah Palin they will continue to become irrelevant…continuing to becoming Rushpublicans with Limbaughtomies and thrashing around like Republicansoreasses and that is the Party of Stooopid. Who knows just maybe they will come to their senses so far they are acting like monkey clowns grooming the scabs off their Republicansoreasses. Will they ever come to their senses and be Americans again? And does the world know that 2000 to 2008 never happened?
